This idea was conceived by Krissie Zibell in 2014 after popping along to a dog park in Yarraville on a Sunday afternoon to take the 'guys' for a walk, only to stumble upon a renegade setup by a group of friends in the middle of the dog park, dishing out some very cool Sunday beats!
Completely unphased that they were surrounded by four-legged balls of fur who seemed to be loving the music and the vibe just as much as they were, it dawned on Zibell that this could actually be something worth looking into! What doesn’t make people happier than music and dogs? And hence, WOOF DOOF was born.
Since its inception, the Woof Doof team have been working hard in the background developing their concept and fine tuning the plan for execution...
All proceeds from this and future events will be donated directly to various animal shelters and rescues across Australia. Woof Doof’s mission is to provide ongoing emotional and financial support to these organisations that rely solely on donations, bequests and funds to maintain their facilities.

Woof Doof’s assistance will assist these ‘frontline warriors’ continue their focus on the fight for a world where all dogs are treated respectfully in a nurturing environment, shown unyielding compassion and are ensured a peaceful and humane existence.
The first beneficiaries will be Second Chance Animal Rescue (SCAR) in Cambellfield. SCAR is an outstanding animal welfare organisation caring for homeless and unwanted dogs and cats and working towards enhancing the responsible ownership of these animals in the community.
For the music buffs out there, here’s the line-up of Woof Doof's artists for the night:
Ben Evans, Mo Ichi, Herc Kass, Suseri, Miyagi, Simon Murphy, Sorceress, Freya.
When: Saturday 9th July, from 6pm till late!
Where: Loop Bar, 23 Meyers Place, Melbourne
Cost: $15 entry (before 10pm) or $20 (after 10pm) – Door sales only so be early!
Merchandise will be available at the event to raise additional funds so please bring along some extra coins to purchase limited WDE items.
