Park your Paws 2020 Charity Calendar & Competition

Parkhound and Mad Paws launch the Park your Paws 2020 Charity Calendar and Competition for Assistance Dogs Australia

Australia’s beloved pooches now have the chance to become the stars of the Park Your Paws Calendar 2020 initiative, launched by Mad Paws and Parkhound, which aims to raise at least $40,000 for Assistance Dogs Australia.

The charity trains highly intelligent, specially bred dogs to help people living with disabilities across Australia. As Parkhound is Australia’s leading peer-to-peer marketplace for parking, entries must include images of doggos sitting safely in car parks. Pre-order your cute calendar and donate to transform lives here.

Mike Rosenbaum, CEO, Parkhound, commented: “As we are all focused on making positive changes at Parkhound, we decided to launch our inaugural charity calendar competition, Park Your Paws 2020.

We’re calling for Australians to get creative and take pics of their pooches in car parks and upload it to social media with #ParkYourPaws before 29th of November
Our aim is to raise at least $40,000, which enables Assistance Dogs Australia to transform someone’s life. 100% of the organisation’s clients find it easier to leave the house, with 81% of clients feeling encouraged to socialise more thanks to their assistance dogs.”

Joining Parkhound in this initiative is Mad Paws, Australia’s largest pet sitting community. “We’re thrilled to be working with Parkhound on this project,” said Mad Paws Community Manager Thomas Derricott. “Even assistance dogs need assistance at times. By contributing to this calendar competition, we hope to further the crucial work that ADA does on a daily basis. Our community is comprised of avid dog lovers, and we can’t wait to see what they contribute for the calendar!”

Richard Lord, Assistance Dogs Australia’s Top Dog commented: “Assistance Dogs Australia receives no government funding, so we are entirely reliant on the generosity of individuals within our community. It takes $40,000 and two years to train and accredit an assistance dog
