From March 10, 2023 - DogFit Agility Foundations, Intro to Odour (NSW)


DogFit Conditioning & Performance are offering 
Agility Foundations for those wanting to learn agility to compete, from the very beginning.

Tunnels and Jumps with foundation contact skills. Over 7 sessions, you'll learn the basics of jumps and tunnels, skills for handling, and begin to sequence.
Sessions run for 45mins from 1:15pm on Friday afternoons in an undercover arena at Mangrove Mountain.

NB: Dogs must be 10 months to start this class. Dogs will not do any bar jumping unless they are older than 14months. Maximum of 6 dogs/class.

The first GAK9 Australia workshop for 2023 will be held in Canberra, presented by Jeremy Wikner from Ascension Canine Training over the Canberra Day long weekend; Saturday, Sunday and Monday - 10th to 12th of March.

This workshop is suitable for anyone; from your brand-new puppy looking to get into a fun new sport, to the seasoned tracker looking to improve their skills and be tested under double blind conditions.

PPGA professional member Dr. Natalie Rogers from K9 concepts will be discussing the topic of "Getting Started with Deaf Dog Training!"

This webinar offers a valuable learning opportunity for everyone who works or lives with deaf dogs.

Seeing Eye Dogs are looking for loving homes for Seeing Eye Dogs pups across Australia. 

This program is taking applications across the majority of local government areas across metropolitan Melbourne, Geelong, Mornington Peninsula, Bendigo and Ballarat regions, as well as selected areas in the Sunshine Coast and northern Brisbane in Queensland.

Come and meet their pups and chat with their friendly staff and carers online about the joys of puppy caring.

From March 26, 2023 - Dog First Aid Course (QLD)

This Dog First Aid Australia course is based on real-world examples with up-to-date information coming across the globe, from various Veterinary and Working dog communities across the globe. This is not your average sub-standard pet/dog first aid course. They don't sugar-coat what they teach and give you the hard facts so that you are more prepared for the "what if". This Course contains graphic real-world content!




This course now incorporates human CPR training 
(HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation) as standard. There's also a course that incorporates both Dog and Human First aid and CPR (HLTAID011 Provide First Aid )

April 11-15, 2023 - Future Vet Kids Camp (Melbourne, VIC)

There are 3 levels of programming offered:
  • Wombats for children aged 9-11 
  • Kookaburras for children aged 12-14 
  • Junior Vets for children aged 14-16 
All Future Vet programs are tailored specifically to the ages and abilities of the campers and are intended to educate, inspire and most of all be fun and exciting. Activities are interactive, hands on and creative, and are designed to boost self-confidence and self esteem.

Appropriate staffing is supplied to make sure all campers receive the attention they require and deserve. Group leaders accompany the children to any off-site venues and are instrumental in making sure the children get the most out of every experience.

From May 8, 2023 - RSPCA Animal Care Studies (NSW)
