Pound Paws Marrickville Dog Day 2020 - January 26

Marrickville’s Favourite Dog Race and Party Returns!

Join Sydney charity Pound Paws as they combine forces with The Henson on January 26 to provide a community event aimed to bring together dogs and dog lovers in the Inner West community, as well as raise awareness about the importance of pet adoption.

The day will kick off at The Henson courtyard, where a dog party activation will take place, designed to provide all attendees with the ultimate experience with their furry best friend!

For those without a dog, no worries! There will be plenty of Inner west canine rescue organisations involved on the day, like Maggie's Rescue and RSPCA NSW with dogs available for adoption and cuddles.

Pound Paws has prepared the event for pooch guests to have the ultimate experience and you can expect everything from a Puppy Ball Pit, dog aura readings as well as Dog Competitions including the popular Best Dog Trick & Best Dog Costume with VIP Judges: Katherine Sabbath (Sydney Cake Queen), Raylene Bliss (Inner West Courier Editor) and Lewis Cavoodle (Insta Famous Dog) on the panel.

The Golden Bone Dog Race will commence in the early afternoon, bringing together the Inner West community at Henson Park, where dogs of all shapes and sizes compete for the Golden Bone Trophy

This competition has been running for many years, shaping the Inner West’s history, to one of victory and community spirit.
