Win 1 of 3 Family Passes to RSPCA Million Paws Walk 2019

Raise your paws for a good cause: RSPCA Million Paws Walk is coming!

If you don't have your 2019 tickets yet, this is your chance to join the nation’s walk to fight animal cruelty as we have 3 Family Passes (2 adults + 2 children) to give away to NSW dog lovers.

A patter of a million paws will hit pavements on Sunday 19th May 2019, which also marks the 25th anniversary of Australia’s biggest doggy day out – RSPCA’s Million Paws Walk.
The animal welfare charity’s largest annual fundraiser will take place in 75 locations across Australia to raise funds to help end animal cruelty.

In Sydney, a guest list of 8,000 four-legged friends and 6,000 owners are expected to show their support on the day.

“The Million Paws Walk brings people and pups together to raise money to help end animal cruelty,” says RSPCA NSW Acting Community Fundraising Manager Danielle Cameron.
“It’s also a fantastic day out filled with colour, dogs of every shape, breed and size imaginable, plenty of fun activities and prizes, and wonderful people who are all there to support an incredibly worthy mission – saving the lives of injured, sick and neglected animals.”

This year’s theme at Sydney Olympic Park is ‘Garden Party’ and guests are encouraged whip out their garden party frocks and finery. Expect lots of gingham, picnic rugs, picnic benches, bunting and flags. There will be competitions and prizes for the cutest dogs, the best owner and dog look-a-likes, best doggy tricks, stalls, music, entertainment, grooming stations and food trucks.

For those who took on the Million Paws Challenge and raised more than $500 prior to the event, there will be a Million Paws Club with special treats for the hardworking humans and pooches.

The money raised will keep RSPCA rescue shelters operating and inspectors on the road investigating cruelty cases. It will provide for community education programs and services to break cycles of abuse and neglect. Last financial year, RSPCA NSW helped care for over 32,000 animals, investigated over 15,000 cases of cruelty and successfully prosecuted 43 cases.
