Double Bay Street Festival Doggie Lane - November 4

Iconic Double Bay Street Festival Hosts First Dog Adoption Laneway in 2018 ...

The iconic Double Bay Street Festival is the largest street festival in the Sydney metropolitan area. It is proudly brought to you by the Sydney East Business Chamber

Now celebrating its eighth year this annual event attracts over 80,000 people of all ages and recognises the strength, vibrancy and diversity of the local community.

Pound Paws is delighted to be hosting their own Doggie Lane in partnership with Vet HQ on Sunday 4th November, to raise awareness about pet adoption, as well as celebrate the wonderful companionship which we share with our pets.

The Vet HQ Doggie Lane will take place on Cooper Street, where Vet HQ and Pound Paws will be hosting dog yoga, magician, doggie balloons, rescue dog parade, doggie ball pit and plenty of pet-friendly treats.

Dog Rescue groups attending include: Pug Patrol Rescue Australia, Mini's Bulldog Rescue Club and Pound Paws, bringing along dogs available for adoption.

Attendees can be treated to live entertainment, ranging from a dog communicator session, presented by Animal Talk, where owners get the chance to communicate with their dogs.

There will also be a large doggie ball pit, where dogs and kids can play together, Dog Adoption Speed Dating and Doggie Masterchef, where doggies can eat whatever treats they please!

For those who want to start the morning early, we recommend booking in for the Doga session - hosted by Hot Dog Yoga & Pound Paws in Guilfoyle Park - an intimate yoga class with your dog!

We also want to extend our thanks to Woollahra Council for their ongoing support of the Chamber.
