Dog's Day Out 2016 Rosny Farm - October 2

The original and the most unique doggie event is on for the 11th consecutive year at the Rosny Farm in Tasmania on Sunday 2 October, 2016.

Council’s Dog’s Day Out will incorporate all the fun entertainment and dog-related attractions to keep you and your furry friends entertained.

Expect to be dazzled by the agility dogs and you can sign up to have a go on the special obstacle course.

The RSPCA will be raising much needed funds through their food stall and dogs will have their very own specialty caterers. Live music will be presented by The Scary Family Band performing all their doggy tunes.

And what would a Dog’s Day Out be without a competition? View Clarence’s finest in canine couture or enter your dog into the "Best Dressed", "Owner Look Alike", "Best Trick" or the new category "Longest Sitter".

Pets and people are also invited into the Schoolhouse Gallery during the day to view the ever popular Poochibald Art Competition. This is an exhibition of dog portraits by local artists and school students and the winners will be announced at 1.00pm on the day.

Emcee of the event will be ‘The Dog Grumbler’ Scott Hunt who said: “I love this event because I see more happy dogs at Dog’s Day Out than any other time of the year. It’s a great opportunity for vets, animal support groups and dog trainers to promote their activities in the wonderful setting of the Rosny Farm. ”
