In this one-day practical workshop you will learn how animal massage and natural therapies can benefit your animals, and how these practices may be applied in the home and in the animal workplace. You're encouraged to bring your dog to class.
  • The history of massage and natural therapies including acupressure, cranio-sacral therapies and T Touch.
  • Basic techniques used to discover abnormalities, to calm and relax an animal, to rid an animal’s body of toxins and stimulate circulation. 
  • Natural therapies in animal first aid

This grooming training course presented by Naomi Conroy is designed to introduce and develop the skills of those wishing to enter the pet grooming industry as a professional.
Under the guidance of Naomi and DOGUE senior groomers – students will concentrate on basic grooming of dogs including brushing, combing, clipping, hair styling techniques and much more.


Course Reward: Nationally Recognised Certificate III in Pet Grooming (ACM30617)

Course Location & Duration:
The grooming course will take place at DOGUE's Bondi Junction training facility. Each course runs for four weeks (full time), Monday to Friday.


Course Schedule 2019:
Course One: Monday, June 3 to Friday, June 28
Course Two: Monday, August 5 to Friday, August 30
Course Three: Monday, November 4 to Friday, November 29

This one day intensive workshop introduces students to the field of domestic animal behavioural modification. This workshop demonstrates the techniques used by behaviourists and trainers to address common behavioural issues. This course only demonstrates and endorses positive reinforcement techniques and techniques endorsed by the Association of Animal Behaviour Professionals.

Your teacher for this workshop is a fully qualified animal scientist, animal behaviourist, vet nurse, animal trainer and zookeeper. She is an experienced animal behaviour expert who manages the behaviour department at a leading animal shelter in Sydney as well as having her own animal behaviour consultancy.

This is the second annual Health and Harmony Dog Symposium held in Brisbane and hosted by The Complete Pet Company.

The Symposium's goal is to deliver knowledge, resources, services and training to improve health and harmony for dogs across Australia. This is also a fantastic opportunity to network with like-minded people. The 2019 speakers include:
