The Dog Lovers Festival is bounding back to Sydney Showground bigger and better than ever this August.
Featuring a new line up of pup-inspired entertainment, insightful education zones and renowned animal experts, plus returning crowd- favourites, the two-day celebration promises to inspire and delight all dog owners.
Festival Founder, Jason Humphris says the team has expanded the festival offering to meet the evolving needs and interests of pet owners. New highlights include a Dog-Friendly Travel Hub, the Optimum™ DOGWALK, Australia’s Best Doppelganger (look-alike) competition and more.

✔️ Kurgo® DockDogs – witness a spectacle of talent unleashed as impressive canines go head-to-head in Big Air, Extreme Vertical, and Speed Retrieval competitions, launching themselves off a raised dock into a 100,000-litre custom-built pool.
✔️ VitaPet Arena – Farmer Dave and his team return with their Extreme High Jumping Dogs, plus new Mini Dog Races and Dog Parkour to wow crowds with their talented terriers. Hear from Dr Katrina Warren, Kelly Gill and the Wonderdogs and learn valuable tips and tricks on pooch training. Plus, you can fetch a glance of them on the Optimum™ DOGWALK!

Dog lovers that are also feline-inclined will also have access to a limited number of Cat Lovers Festival tickets at half price. Australia's leading cat-committed Cat Lovers Festival is running directly next door (albeit in its own dedicated, dog-free venue) and will be even bigger than the 2023 debut event!
