Participants at the Greyt Masters Art & Ales fundraising event can bid on a new series of hound-produced artworks in support of Greyhound Rescue.
All proceeds from the auction will provide further resources for much needed Greyhound rescue and rehabilitation facilities.
The current collection of paintings for auction, titled Greyt Masters: Autonomia, uncover themes of self and identity. These concepts are explored through the process of reflection and the broadness of existence, drawing inspiration from within.
Greyhounds are strongly encouraged to participate in painting events as a form of enrichment, an excellent opportunity for rescued hounds to develop decision making skills and build confidence. These skills will provide further comfort for Greyhounds in new home environments.

The series of artworks are solely produced by the Kennel Kids at Greyhound Rescue. These Greyhounds were born into the racing industry and have since been rehabilitated to start their new lives as family pets.
Greyhound Rescue’s mission is to ethically and safely rehome greyhounds that are no longer wanted by the racing industry. The rescue works to provide greyhounds with a voice through advocacy and education for all dog owners and the general public.
In the past year alone, Greyhound Rescue has found homes for almost 300 hounds, providing them safe spaces to be cherished as family pets. To ease the transition from racing to pet life, the rescue provides Greyhounds with a range of tools needed to cope with their new surroundings.Greyhounds are strongly encouraged to participate in painting events as a form of enrichment, an excellent opportunity for rescued hounds to develop decision making skills and build confidence.
