In a growing trend of high-end dog-friendly events, Melbourne’s Dog.ustation Dinner for dogs and their humans reign supreme.
Dégustation - French for ‘tasting’ lots of different dishes - focuses on the senses, high culinary art and good company.
Dog.ustation is French for ‘treat our dogs like the royalty they are’ and it comes with a menu that dogs are going absolutely bonkers for, and leaving their humans in amazement.
The Dog.ustation Dinner is the lovechild of two passionate dog mums - avid home chef and author of two dog cookbooks, Riesa Renata from Master Bowie and Kate Opitz owner of The Saltiest Dog, which provides the finest raw food and dog treats for the most cherished pooches.
The first Dog.ustation event was held on January 26 with tickets sold out within 24 hours!

Pawrent testimonials praised the ‘beautiful, stunning’ and ‘impressively created food’ that is also ‘nutritious and healthy for dogs’. Other pawstomers called the event a ‘fun date night with my dog’, a ‘bucket list’ type occasion and a ‘boujee experience that’s insta-worthy’!”
“OMG, I don’t even know where to start….it was AMAZING!!” said Samantha, Delilah’s mum. “The meals looked spectacular. I felt like we were at a royal feast for fancy pants rich people. I'm sure Delilah thought so too in the one second she allowed before devouring the meals!”
Socialising with other dogs and their like-minded owners was a plus point, too, not to mention receiving a goodie bag that had ‘actual products of value’, applauded a pawstomer.

My heart is full when the dogs love the food, and their owners are in awe watching their beloved eat with enthusiasm and excitement.”
Kate, who is also passionate about wholesome, natural raw food diets for pets, wants her shop to be a place where pets and their pawrents can enjoy a unique and memorable experience together.
