Bark Park 2022 Dogs Day Out - October 29

On Saturday 29th October 2022, Bark Park is transforming Gosford Waterfront into a pawesome day out for dog lovers and their furry friends.

Kicking off at 2pm, Bark Park 2022 is the first of its kind to be a celebration of all things dogs, beer, music, food stalls and picturesque views of Gosford waterfront, wrapping up at 8pm after a balmy sunset.

Pups and their families can browse the 10+ market stalls hosted by pet-loving businesses. Selling everything from treats to toys, personalised collars and bandanas, cool doggy outfits, and even steel cut-outs of the dog to place in their gardens.

Bark Park have an array of wail-tagging activities lined up; frolicking in the ball bit, enjoying relaxing doggy massages, treating themselves with a delicious Doglato (doggy Gelato), then splashing around at the mini shell pool party, with a lifeguard on hand to ensure all the dogs are cooling off responsibly.

Whilst the pooches are busy mingling and sniffing about, their humans can devour down many of the food options available; fries, burgers, hot dogs, gozlemes, pizzas, ice cream, snow cones, coffee (dogachinos too) and smoothies/acai bowls. A pop-up bar brought to you by local favourites Six String Brewing Co. will be pouring beers all afternoon for the humans, and for the pooches Cute AF Pets will be pouring the Bark Park Brew dog beer, Puptails (puppy mocktails) and mermaid lattes so you and your bestie can bond over a brew.

Having a dog is a long-term responsibility so thanks to the Central Coast Council, owners and future dog owners can discuss the do’s and don'ts of responsible pet ownership - teaching public etiquette and safety.

Teachers from some of our amazing local dog obedience schools will offer owners helpful tips and tricks when it comes to training and handling puppies as well as teaching old dogs new tricks.

DogFit Conditioning & Performance will be hosting a Tricks Challenge for you and your pooch to show off your skills in the chance to win a $500 spa package!

Locals can also thank the Animal Referral Hospital (ARH) for sponsoring the Hydration Stations that pups can swig from throughout the day.

They can also have a chat to the ARH team about their services, and grab a cute bandana that has been sprayed with Adaptil - a calming spray for your furry mate who may be a bit overwhelmed by the fun of Bark Park.

On the Gypsy Caravan stage, FairPlay will be bringing the good vibes with their local artists playing live music throughout the day, with headlining local band 'Dingo' wrapping up the puppy party.

Dogs and their humans can dance under the luminous festoon lights with the beautiful Gosford Waterfront as their backdrop - the perfect pic for the dog-gram.

Whilst we are all about pure doggy fun at Bark Park, there are some rules to help make the day go smoothly for all. All dogs must be on a lead and under control by their human, including humans to pick up any doggy-do, and despite our fun name and good vibes, aggressive barking behaviour will not be tolerated.

With huge thanks to the legends at PETstock, there will be multiple sanitation stations throughout the event where you can grab a free poop bag.

Locals can thank those behind the idea of Bark Park, who have now introduced a new concept called ‘Doggy Libraries’ to various dog-friendly parks and beaches on the Central Coast, providing dogs with sticks and tennis balls to play with at these hotspots.
