Krispy Kreme launches Doggie Doughnuts in partnership with Huds & Toke

Krispy Kreme releases a pawsome doughnut range... for dogs!

These limited edition, doughnut-inspired dog biscuits are made in partnership with local Aussie business Huds & Toke, especially for four-legged friends!

Love spoiling your pooch? Krispy Kreme Australia today launches limited edition ‘Doggie Doughnuts’ in the lead up to International Dog Day on August 26, so owners can finally share the joy of sweet doughnut treats with their dog-bestie.

It’s a chance for paw-rents to have an adorable matching moment with their pup; each Doggie Doughnut is inspired by an iconic Krispy Kreme flavour, with six flavours to choose from including Original Glazed®, Choc Cookie, Choc Sprinkles, Choc Iced, Strawberry Sprinkles and Choc Cheesecake.

Available to order as six pack (RRP $14.95) at your nearest Krispy Kreme via the Drive Thru* or online for next day click & collect at your closest Krispy Kreme Store. For the ultimate doggie date, Aussies who purchase the via drive-thru will also receive a FREE puppycino – win!

To craft the healthy canine treats, Krispy Kreme partnered with Huds & Toke, a small independent business based in Coolum, QLD specialising in pet treats that are better for your pooch. The result? Delicious, all natural, nutty-based doughnut-shaped biscuits that are handmade, low in fat and contain no added salt, sugar, or preservatives.

The hard-baked cookie base and frosting has been designed specifically for dog jaws – using ingredients like carob and yoghurt - for dental cleaning benefits and to last longer than the usual cookie for your dog's ultimate chewing enjoyment.

Olivia Sutherland, Marketing Director at Krispy Kreme Australia says: “At Krispy Kreme we love to share and who better to enjoy a Krispy Kreme moment with than your true best friend?

We’re so excited to be partnering with an incredible local Aussie business, Huds and Toke, to bring the dream of sharing a doughnut with your dog to a reality!”

Emma Gibbons, founder of Huds & Toke says: “We had so much fun reimagining Australia’s favourite Krispy Kreme flavours as dog-friendly treats."

We wanted to perfectly recreate the details of each iconic doughnut so owners could get “matchy-matchy” with their pets! It’s the best fun.

It’s also our biggest manufacturing project to date and awesome to have a brand as influential as Krispy Kreme reaching out to a small Aussie business like ours.”

Krispy Kreme's Doggie Doughnuts have been designed exclusively by Huds and Toke Pty Ltd specifically for animals and are 100% Aussie-made from a HACCP Accredited facility in Queensland.
