Hemp Collective Launch Natural Pet Range

Hemp Collective is thrilled to launch their new pet range, which has set tails and tongues wagging all around Australia.

Hemp Collective is a family-run business in the Byron Shire, dedicated to creating conscious, sustainable and ethical products, as well as lifting the stigma surrounding hemp.

For the past 3 years, Australians have fallen in love with Hemp Collective’s organic hair and body care range. And now, your four-legged friend can too!

At the start of 2021, Hemp Collective launched their Pet Balance Oil, Pet Balm and Pet Shampoo Bar, so your best friend can thrive from head to paw.

There’s so much emerging research surrounding the benefits of hemp for our pets, including immune support, digestive support, healthy skin and coat, plus it contains the ideal ratio of Omega fatty acids.

One ecstatic pet owner took to a Facebook group to describe her experience with the Hemp Pet Balm, after her Doberman, Bentley, scraped his paw pad: “after using the balm for a week the results have been phenomenal, he is back to his bubbly, smiley self and I couldn’t be more grateful.”

Samantha, another proud pet owner said, “the pet shampoo is like a trip to the pet salon. It leaves my dog’s coat so shiny, he’s become the talk of the dog park!

Founders Maxine and Mike Shea began their journey toward hemp during their own search for natural, effective solutions. It all started nine years ago when their newly born son suffered from severe eczema. At the same time, Maxine’s health began to decline when she was diagnosed with a rare, non-cancerous brain tumour.

What they found was that the products they thought were “safe” were actually doing more harm. In the search for better health, they felt they were running into more dead ends than solutions.

Then, during their research, the hemp plant came up time and time again. The research behind it was so astonishing, they knew they had to share it with others. Hemp Collective was born.

But what’s so incredible about the hemp plant is it doesn’t just provide benefits to human and animal wellbeing, it’s also incredibly kind to the earth.

Hemp requires minimal chemicals to grow, sucks in carbon and helps to replenish the soil. At Hemp Collective, they have a sustainable and zero waste focus across all their products.
As Maxine explains, “there’s growing awareness of the benefits of hemp, as well as increasing consumer support for sustainable products and business practices. This is integral to creating a happier, healthier world for future generations.”
Better yet, Hemp Collective grows their own organic hemp on their property in the Byron Shire, adhering to sustainable farming practices at every step of the way. Although in recent times, COVID has put a stop to the growing season. But during these tough times, they still ensure they’re sourcing Australian grown hemp, from Aussie farmers.

So environmentally conscious pet owners can rejoice, Hemp Collective’s Pet Range ticks all the boxes.

Pet Balance Oil

The Pet Balance Oil is a natural additive to your pet’s meal, combining the wonders of Hemp Seed Oil and Chia Oil

Like two peas in a pod, the nutrients in these oils work together, giving your pet a boost of essential vitamins, minerals and the optimum balance of Omega fatty acids (3, 6 and 9).

This blend of nutrients can improve immunity, mobility, digestion and skin and coat health.

Pet Shampoo

This Pet Shampoo keeps your pet squeaky clean, without the environmental footprint, chemicals or plastic waste.

It can last up to three times longer than its plastic bottled rival, plus it’s gentle on pet owners with sensitive skin.

The Pet Shampoo Bar is a natural blend of hemp seed oil, coconut oil, cocoa butter, eucalyptus and more, which works to replenish the natural moisture balance of their skin and coat.

Pet Balm

A topical balm that’s filled with natural, soothing and anti-inflammatory ingredients, including Hemp, Coconut Oil, Shea Butter, Eucalyptus and more.

The Pet Balm is lick safe and ideal for use on rough, cracked paws, skin irritations or specific areas of concern.
