Stamford Hotel Dog Day is an event collaboration between Pound Paws and Stamford Hotel, Rowville in a mission to raise awareness for local Victorian-based dog rescue groups, whilst also hosting a fun community event, which celebrates the wonderful companionship which we share with our pets.
The mission behind all Pound Paws Dog Day events is to educate the public about the importance of choosing to adopt instead of shop when it comes to getting your next pet. This is done in a fun pro-active approach, with the support from local pet businesses, celebrities and the media.
Stamford Hotel will be activating their outdoor carpark area with live music, entertainment, pet market stalls and dogs available for adoption.
There will be dogs available for adoption from over seven different rescue groups, including: Australian Working Dog Rescue, Labrador Rescue, French Bulldog Rescue & Adoption Victoria Inc, Amazing Greys, The Fur Monsters of Doom, Starting Over Dog Rescue, Waggin Tails Animal Rescue, Hear No Evil – Australian Deaf Dog Rescue.

Melbourne dog lovers and their pooches are invited to come along for a paw-some day full of activities, which is guaranteed to get tails wagging!

Have some fun exercising with your pet during a session at 12:15pm presented by X-Stacey Vitality Personal Training Studio! Drop by their stand (left of the stage) to grab some organic hand-made doggie nuggets and enter their fundraising raffle for a chance to win some great prizes including a doggie hamper, private dog adventure or 4-week Puppy PT Challenge.
