Knox Pets in the Park is a free community event to be held on Sunday 9th April 2017 with the theme being "Responsible Pet Ownership".
You can treat your pet and the whole family to a free day of entertainment and giveaways.
There will be a wealth of knowledge and information available to all. Visitors can find out which pet best suits their lifestyle, and what is needed to keep them happy.
PET PARADES
Get your pet ready to enter the Pet Parades for a chance to win major prizes.
The Parades will take place at both 11:00am and 3:30pm.
Categories include Best Trick and Best Dressed.
Register at the event or via the website before Wednesday 5th April.
Free activities include:
- Dog Training Demonstrations from local clubs including Flipping Disc Dogz and the German Shepherd Dog Club
- Lure Course
- Working Dog demonstrations
- Stage Entertainment
- Reptile, Creepy Crawly and Native Animal display including a crocodile
- Free Rides for Kids
- Face Painting
- Agility Course
- Doggy Cafe
- Stallholders with pet related products and services
- Be sure to get snapped with your pet in the free photo booth
When: Sunday 9th April 2017, from 10am - 4pm; Pet Parade at 11:00am and 1:30pm.
