The RSPCA Pets at the Pub is a family-friendly event which aims to promote dog-friendly venues where canines can join the fun.
It is being held monthly at different venues around Adelaide, with the next one at the National Wine Centre on Sunday 26th February.
National Wine Centre’s Chelsea Hopper says it’s a great way to raise funds and awareness for RSPCA which provides animal care and protection services across the country.
“The National Wine Centre supports various charities throughout the year and we have a few animal lovers in the building, so when the RSPCA approached us, we jumped straight on board as it’s an organisation close to our hearts,” Ms Hopper says.
“Not only is it a great cause, but it’s also about bringing people who have the same love for dogs together in a fun, social environment.”
There will be plenty of tasty treats to keep the canines well-behaved and humans will be able to indulge in food such as paella and fish and chips, while enjoying live music and entertainment on the terrace.
The event is expected to attract up to 300 people and their furbabies. All friendly and well-socialised dogs are welcome, and funds raised on the day will help RSPCA South Australia protect and care for all creatures great and small.
