Retford Park International Dog Day 2026 - August 23

A Paws-itively Perfect Day at Retford Park: International Dog Day 2026

On Sunday, August 23rd, 2026, Retford Park in Bowral, NSW, will host its beloved annual International Dog Day celebration, an event dedicated entirely to honouring our canine companions.

Calling all dogs, hounds, pups, mutts, doggos, and pooches! The festivities will take place from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM within the historic estate’s breath-taking European-inspired gardens.

Held in celebration of James Fairfax, the renowned art collector and philanthropist known for his deep affection for his dogs, this special event invites you and your furry friends to join in on a joyful day out in the Southern Highlands.
