"This milestone isn’t just about looking back on 10 years of impact," says Yvonne Hong, Founder and CEO of Pets Of The Homeless.
"It’s about celebrating the community that makes our work possible—from the families and pets we’ve supported, to the volunteers, donors, and partners who believe every person deserves to stay with their best friend, no matter their circumstances."
Fun for the Whole Family (and Their Furry Friends)
Held at the beautiful Karkarook Park in Heatherton, the event promises a fun-filled day for everyone. You and your four-legged companion can enjoy a walk around Karkarook Lake, with a free goodie bag and doggy bandana waiting for you at the finish line.
The day also features fun competitions, raffle prizes, and a delicious sausage sizzle. Thanks to major sponsor Scratch, you can even grab a free barista-made coffee to fuel your walk. The event will be emceed by beloved TV and radio personality Myf Warhurst, a passionate ambassador for the organisation.
