GAP Adoption Event hosted by Tim Cahill - August 13

Greyhounds As Pets' biggest Adoption Day yet!

Australian soccer legend, GAP ambassador, and Greyhound adopter Tim Cahill will host GAP's largest Winter Adoption Event at Gough Whitlam Park in Sydney.

60 Greyhounds will be searching for loving families and their forever homes!

In 2019 Australian sporting icon and football legend Tim Cahill became the first ambassador for Greyhound As Pets NSW; he showed his commitment to the program when he adopted a beautiful blue greyhound named Luna Moana – or Lumo for short – which means Blue in Samoan.

During his visit to Australia, coinciding with the Women's World Cup, Tim will host GAP's largest-ever adoption day to help over 60 of our remarkable Greyhounds find homes.

"Animal welfare is something which has always been close to my heart, and the amazing work that GAP NSW do with retired Greyhounds in transitioning them into the next phase of their lives is something I'm proud to be a part of."
