4. Beware of doggy playdates until your puppy is fully vaccinated for potential illnesses and parasites. You see, puppies receive a C4 vaccination to keep them safe from parvovirus, canine distemper, canine hepatitis and canine parainfluenza.
At the second or third vaccination, puppies receive Bordetella (known as kennel cough). Your pup will be fully protected and safe to meet other doggies 10 days after their final vaccination. Speak to your vet about annual booster shots.
