Floriade in Canberra wouldn’t be complete without the return of their annual Dogs’ Day Out. For one day only, event organisers invite visitors to bring their four-legged pals to Commonwealth Park.All pups, big and small, are invited to soak up the sunshine and explore Floriade on Sunday 13 October (only) with speciality stores just for dogs, lots of extra doggy activities and breed group photos, it’s definitely a day not to be missed!

Featuring more than one million blooms, this floral festival includes a program of hands on workshops from photography classes and nature walks to gourmet cupcake decorating and macramé plant hanger making, music, entertainment and a huge range of Canberra’s best food and beverage producers ready to satisfy your taste buds.
Experience a sensory overload with your pooch as you explore all the sights, smells and sounds of Floriade 2019.

There will be lots of four-legged fun to be had with activities and demonstrations on offer throughout the day.
The Floriade displays will be paws-itively teeming with our four-legged friends during the Dogs’ Day Out.

Doggie Rules:
All dogs must be fully vaccinated. Dogs must be socialised and generally non-aggressive to people or other dogs.
All dogs must remain on a leash at all times.
Dogs and owners must remain on designated paths and must not enter any garden bed at any time. Dogs may not enter any indoor venue or food outlet.
Dogs must be picked up after and all waste disposed of responsibly.
Dogs may only enter the Floriade site during opening hours of Sunday 13 October 2019.
Due to the large number of dogs expected to attend, no other animals will be permitted to attend.
