Gymea Hotel Dog Day 2018 - October 28

Get ready for another pawsome Dog Day event hosted by Sydney-based charity Pound Paws to raise awareness about dog adoption, as well as celebrate the wonderful companionship which we share with our pets! 

The aim of the day is to educate the Australian public about the importance of choosing to adopt instead of shop when it comes to getting their next pet, as well as responsible pet ownership.

Pound Paws will host over 20 different pet stall holders, ranging from professional pet photographers to doggie treat tastings including:

DOGUE, Aussie Pooch Mobile Dog Wash Miranda, Darby's Dog Bakery & Deli, Healthy Hound Food, Vintage Indy Designs, Paradise Pet Parks, Happy Healthy Dog, Life on the Hedge, Porters 4 Pets, Daniel Arnaldi Photographer, Eccentric paws, Happy Go Puppy, K9 Rawsome, Lilly's Pawtisserie, Petz Tucker, PETstock, Furtographer, White Wolf Candle Co. etc.

There will be a Petflair fashion parade, with models strutting on the ‘dog-walk’ wearing swimwear featuring their pet, plus a Halloween Spooky Costume Competition at 2pm.

Rescue groups within the South Sydney region will also be involved including the Sutherland Shire Council Animal Shelter and Deaf Dogs Rescue Australia, with dogs available for adoption.

The day is dedicated to making sure all dog tails are wagging!

Please note that all dogs must be on a lead.
