Islington Dog Park (Newcastle) will come alive with wagging tails and paws galore for Dogs in the Park Tighes Hill this Sunday 14th October 2018.

Why not bring your pooches along to a full day of activities including Dog Competitions, Dog Demonstrations plus loads of giveaways throughout the day.

Some of this Event's highlights include:

• Free Dental Checks 
• On site Micro-chipping 
• Dog Rescue Stalls from Deaf Dogs Rescue Australia, NSW Bull Terrier Rescue INC, Tiki Animal Rescue etc.
• Pet Stalls with products and services to spoil your pooches 
• Dog Massages
• Pooch Kissing Booth 
• Dog treat samples 
• Food Stalls 

Does your Dog like to flaunt their stuff? If yes, then make sure to enter your pet in the Pet Fashion Parade! Whether fancy, formal, funky, or a mix of styles, this competition is your pet’s best chance to really shine! Owners are encouraged to add to the fun by dressing up! Or maybe your pet has an amazing talent, here’s your chance to show it off!

Competitions will be held throughout the day across various categories with great prizes on offer for the following categories:

• Cutest Puppy (must be under 12 months) 
• Cutest Dog  (dogs aged 1+) 
• Simon Says (all ages, $5 entry fee) 
• Fancy Dressed 
• Doggie Races (small, medium, large) 
• Best Trick
• Happiest Dog
• Best in Show (all dogs welcome to enter)

When: Sunday 2nd December 2018, from 9:30am to 3:30pm *event rescheduled due to weather conditions
