Pound Paws Double Bay Dog Day - June 24


Double Bay Dog Day is returning to Guilfoyle Park, Double Bay on Saturday 24th June, 2017 after a very successful first year event.

This fundraising event will be hosted again by Pound Paws, in partnership with the Double Bay Chamber of Commerce.

The aim of this event is to raise awareness about the importance of choosing to adopt instead of shop, as well as providing fun for the whole family and their four-legged companions.

Sydney dog lovers can shake off those winter blues whilst uniting for a good cause. There will be lots of fun activities ranging from:

A Rescue Dog Walk - displaying lots of cute dogs available for adoption from different pounds & rescue centres.

• Dog Finger Painting
• Face Painting
• Live Music Performances
Pet Stalls - pet treats, information etc.
• Food Stalls - vegan treats and savoury snacks for owners

• Dog Competitions for you to enter your own pet into. 
The categories include: Best Dressed DogBest Dog Walk and Best Dog Trick
Pop-up Photo Booth and much more!

Pound Paws is a not-for-profit organisation which assists in the re-homing of dogs and cats in Australian pounds and rescue centres. Their website's unique search engine allows you to search for breeds, age, size and lifestyle match from its large database of pets available for adoption all over Australia.

Come and join them for a fun day out with your dogs and speak out for those who can't!
