WA Pet Project PetFest 2017 - April 2


The WA Pet Project is celebrating its first birthday and is inviting you to celebrate with them during PetFest 2017 in North Perth on April 2.


This event is supported by the City of Vincent and proudly sponsored by SavourLifePetFest is a day when you can give back and look forward plus celebrate all things pet-related. This is a free event with many activities planned throughout the day so what can you expect?

Microchipping - Credit (and first image): Shutter Paws Perth
  • Free microchipping will be available on the day thanks to Dr Naomi from North 2 South Vet Care
  • A canine sensory gardenmade up with numerous different smells, textures and sounds to engage all the senses and offer enjoyment for each individual dog. Featuring plants to sniff and different activities to stimulate their mind!
  • Not forgetting the kitties, there's also a feline enrichment area. This will feature various toys that stimulate and provide entertainment for cats.
  • Perth's next Dog Model competition. If your pets don't mind dressing up, get their outfits ready!  There will be bonus point for costumes featuring the WA Pet Project themed colours...
  • Educational short talks
  • Photo booth for the whole family, including four-pawed babies. 
  • Hydrobath facility on the day to ensure your pooch looks his/her best!
  • WAPP merchandise
  • A number of pet-related stalls offering dog products and services including SavourLifeDOGlite, Winston & Ruby, BooBoo's Doggy Daycare, Puppalu Pets, The Sartorial Dog, Pet Vet Emergency, Furbaby Boutique & Cafe, Petography, Woof Meow Tweet Squeak, PETstock, Fetch Dog Care, Wellness Centre for Dogs to mention only a few....
  • A chill out zone
  • Face painting for the kids
  • and of course lots of food options: because after all this, you will be hungry!

So Perth dog lovers, mark your calendar and get ready to celebrate this first birthday with your family! 


Pets are welcome but please consider the amount of activity and stimuli on the day: not all dogs will be comfortable in this busy environment so make sure yours is!

Please note that all canines and felines attending must be kept on lead at all times.

WA Pet Project is a new animal rescue group  which started in October 2015 and is based in Perth, Western Australia. Their team has over 50 years collective experience working with pets and their humans.

They offer pet rehoming, an adoption program for dogs and cats and also a Free Dog Training Program.
