The Pets at the Gabba Markets are the first markets in Brisbane devoted to pets, celebrating Brisbane’s vibrant community of doggos, kitties and everything in between.
Event managers Lia Onorati and Renee Cutting say the market showcases the best pet products and services available locally and nationally, catering to all types of pets, while also raising much-needed funds for pet charities.
Each month, a different charity will be selected to receive part of the stall cost as a donation. In addition to this, there’ll be raffles every week (with prizes donated by stall holders and other companies in the pet industry), with the designated charity of the month to receive all proceeds. The first charity of the month will be RSPCA Queensland who will be there along with World for Pets, School for Dogs and PetCloud.
There will be a mix of stalls each week and here are some of the pet products and services you can expect on March 25:
- Aloha Hound - holistic dog spa and retreat
- Bobo's Pet Emporium - safe and funky pet products for dogs and birds
- Cherry Pie's Delights - homemade, preservative free dog biscuits, donuts and cake
- Coopers Collars - pet accessories brand that is "all about dogs"
- DK Stainless - pet rehydration systems created using stainless steel
- Dogtainers - Australia's premier pet transport company
- East Coast Pets - handcrafted accessories with pets, people, and the planet in mind
- Fluppies - fun and practical clothing and accessories
- Frankie & Emmett - custom-fit handmade clothing and accessories
- Golden Bone Bakery - treats to spoil, reward and train using human quality ingredients
- Golden Swag Box - one-off or regular monthly subscription box for your dog
- K9 Cakes - delicious doggy cakes and treats
- NomNom Pets - all natural homemade delights to "treat them right"
- Northern Exposure Gig Racing Club - Queensland's Premier Sled Dog Club
- Pets In Peace - dedicated pet funeral home that understands your needs
- Precious Paws Animal Rescue - rescue organisation run 100% by a volunteer base
- Qld Staffy & Amstaff Rescue - dedicated to Staffys, Amstaffs & their crosses in need
- Rosie & Co Barkery - 'Rosie Rocks' unique and chewy gem-shaped dog treats
- Sacred Pet Boutique - dog toys, pet apparel, dog treats etc.
- Siberian Husky & Alaskan Malamute Rescue of Qld - rescue, care, welfare and rehoming
- suburban pup - human-grade dog meal brekkies and dinners
- Toff's Treatz - homemade gourmet pet treats with natural ingredients

Whilst the focus of the market is firmly on pets, there will be food stalls for pet parents too with Fresh Gozleme, Joeys Mini Pancakes, Mr Barista Coffee, Mr America, Turkish Gozleme etc ... so you won’t have to resort to eating dog food while you escort your fur babies around the event.
When: Saturday 25th March 2017, from 3:00pm until 9:00pm and every Saturday after that.

The premises have a licensed cafe, The Canvas Art Café & Drive-Thru, and an American Smoke House.
