Dogapalooza Melbourne is a dog-friendly music festival returning to the green grasses of Burnley Park in Richmond on Sunday 9th October.
All proceeds raised at this charity and awareness event go to amazing organisations helping dogs, like Oscar’s Law and Melbourne’s dog rescue groups: Stafford Rescue Victoria, Melbourne Animal Rescue and Puppy Tails Rescue.
This boutique music festival is a quintessential ‘love fest’ of dogs (for dog owners and their dog coveting friends).
Dogapalooza is a "lay about in the spring sunshine and take it down a notch" offering as a thousand dogs make new friends whilst listening to some of Melbourne’s finest artists.
After last year's sold out event, Dogapalooza promoter Abby Gee is pleased to announce a site extension and council approval for a capacity increase for this year's festival.
Furry inner city hipsters (and their owners) will be able to choose from top notch ethical food offerings including Dogapalooza’s own vegan BBQ and Little Mushroom Co - title holder of the Top 10 best food trucks in Melbourne - as well as browse the stalls of beneficiary rescue groups and dog product vendors.
This year's festival will see the introduction of the inaugural Dogapalooza Awards with categories including “best inner city hipster” and “quiet achiever”!
There will be activities for kids as well with face painting, old school games not to mention lots of adorable socialised dogs to pat during the day.
