Comedy Pets Photo Awards 2024 is now open for entries!
This year's competition has launched to find the funniest pet photos in the world with a £500 cash top prize, plus brilliant Thinktank photographic bag and bespoke trophy!Comedy Pets, the funny pet photo and video competition aimed at celebrating our amazing pets and the positive effect that they have on our lives officially launched on January 1st, 2024.
Calling on all pet lovers worldwide to send in their hilarious photos or videos of their beloved pets doing funny things for the chance to win a cash prize for the Best Overall Photo and be crowned Comedy Pet Photographer of the Year!
Plus, to encourage budding young photographers to join in the fun, entry to the Junior Category is Free to under 16’s (T & C’s apply).
We’re delighted to open the 2024 competition, kicking off the new year in style, albeit with a comedic twist!

The joy and happiness that pets bring into our lives improves our wellbeing, both mentally and physically, and we are so lucky to have them in our lives. This competition is about sharing the love and celebrating what makes them so special!
Everyone is welcome to enter, so get snapping your amazing pets and send us your images and videos of the funniest, silliest, daftest pets ever!

A supremely qualified (possibly over-qualified) panel of judges, including the TV presenter and conservationist, Kate Humble, comedian and presenter Mel Geidroyc, professional award-winning photographer Elke Vogelsang, Gerrard Gethings, another snapper and pet guru, and official competition Vet Emma Milne will be checking out your entries, along with Competition Founders Paul Joynson-Hicks and Tom Sullam.
- The closing date for entries this year is Sunday 14th April 2024.
Entry is via the website and there is a small charge to enter (except for Junior Category.)
