Sydney dog lovers get ready! Renowned photography studio and event space, MimmynVovo, is hosting the city's first Dog-O-Ween event on Sunday, 22nd October 2023.
Sydney's one-of-a-kind experience for pets, Dog-O-Ween, will take place at Mimmynvovo’s family-friendly Rosebery studio, making it the perfect place to capture Instagram-worthy photos with your pup.
The unique event will span across four versatile and interactive rooms, including moving props, selfie sets and multiple themed photo sets, a wicked witches brewing kitchen, a groovy disco dino land with a ball pit and huge disco balls, a whimsical wizard room and a moody cloud room complete with a ball pit and giant cloud installation.
Dana Grigg, MimmynVovo owner, says, “It’s no secret that Aussies love their pets. With Halloween continuing to grow in popularity, we thought it would be the perfect time to launch a dedicated studio setup for dogs and their owners to dress up and capture fun memories together.
We’re so excited about the incredible space we’ve created and we know that dogs and owners alike are going to absolutely love snapping selfies and generally having a spook-tacular time.”
Taking place in 60-minute slots from 1:00pm - 8:00pm, Dog-O-Ween is suitable for all ages and all dog breeds, with a limit of six pets per session. General admission tickets start at $35 for one adult and one pet. To capture the experience, ticket holders must bring their phone cameras to capture the spooky snaps.

Please Note: Unfortunately, this experience is not wheelchair accessible due to stair access across multiple rooms.
Each pet attending needs to be well-trained and able to get along well with other animals.
Those looking to make their time extra special can purchase a ticket for a personal photographer for a 45-minute session for $300 or treat their furry friends to a 'Scooby Snack Pack' unique treat party bag for just $10. Add-on tickets are also available, with one adult ticket (16 years and over) being $25.00, an add-on child's access being $12.00, and access for an extra pet is $20.00. If you've got a family of fur babies, MimmynVovo can also organise a photoshoot for multiple dogs.
