Searching for a paw-some market catered specifically to your fur-ever friend? One with a huge variety of market stalls for all breeds and sizes, with everything from canine clothing to Fido-friendly skincare?
Well, you’re barking up the right tree here, as the infamous Dogs on the Green is back and it’s bigger and better than ever before. Fur real!
For the first time, this FREE community market bone-anza is taking place over not one, but two fun-filled days. Each day will feature different stalls for you and your pup to explore, so you can shop more doggy deals than you can poke a bone at.

With 80 stall holders spanning across clothing, accessories, skincare, rescue groups, meals, cakes, artists, photography, natural therapies and lots more, there’s something for every pooch.
Not only will you go mutts for all the amazing products on offer, but you’ll be supporting local businesses at the same time. Bow-WOW! You and your pup can socialise with other dogs and fellow dog lovers and enjoy some timeout in the sunshine.
Hungry and thirsty shoppers will be spoilt for choice, with a selection of sweet and savoury food and drink vans on-site. Grab a coffee, cold drink, delicious snack, or an ice-cream to refuel before hitting the trail again.
There will also be a raffle on the day to raise much needed funds for rescue groups. Give a round of a-paws to the stallholders who have kindly donated a pool of goodies and tail-wagger treats, split into ten prizes. Five will be drawn on Saturday and the other five on Sunday, so be sure to go both days to increase your chances of scoring some loot!
Founder Rosalie Sulfaro, an ex-stallholder at other various events with her business Doggie Daywear, saw a gap in the market and decided to pounce. Like many others, she wished there was a regular market for pooch enthusiasts…and so Dogs on the Green was born!
Dogs on the Green has undergone quite the trans-fur-mation since its very first event in May 2019.
Originally held in Merrimac before moving to the new event ‘home’ at Benowa State School, each event has attracted a larger following.
With eight events now under its collar, Dogs on the Green is renowned for giving Gold Coast dog lovers a ten out of ten experience. Combining the best products on offer and the opportunity for interaction and socialisation has proved to be a winning formula for the most frequently held doggie market in the region.
Parking both onsite and on-street is FREE, which means there is more in the kitty (or should we say ‘doggie’) to spoil your furry friend. So, what are you waiting for?
