Perth Pet Expo 2017 – November 4 & 5

Bring your pet and your family along to the Perth Pet Expo 2017 on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th November at the Claremont Showground as it will be a great entertaining week-end for pet owners and animal lovers of all ages. 

The Perth Pet Expo was first held in 2014 with the intent of raising public awareness about responsible pet ownership, as well as showcasing new products and technologies for pet parents.

The Perth Pet Expo 2017 - brought to you by Meals for Mutts - is the only event of its kind in WA, so don't miss out! You will see the latest products, services, attractions and technologies which are now available in Perth.

You will be able to watch presentations, enter your pet in the WA Cutest Pet Competition 2017 and your pet could be crowned at the event!

The ambassadors of the 2017 Perth Pet Expo are Dr. Kate Lindsey, founder of the Kalmpets Animal Behaviour Centre and Dr Rick Fenny, founder/chairman of Pets and Vets group, and vet for the famous "Red Dog".

The 2017 programme includes presentations by animal behaviourists and animal experts, a wide range of exhibitors offering products and services, entertainment including dog demonstrations, an ANCATS cat show, mobile animal farm, pony rides, reptiles on display and more!

WA's Cutest Pet Competition

Do you think you have the cutest pet in Western Australia? Bring him or her along if so! 

The competition is open to pets of all shapes and sizes, and there will be three prize categories for cutest dog, cutest cat and cutest household companion.The winners will be picked by a general public vote.

ANCATS (Australian National Cat Inc.

The presenters of the regional and national Cat of the Year awards will be showcasing some delightful cats and kittens for a fun and social experience.

Animal Instincts Fashion Parade
This includes the Best Dressed Pet Competition.


City Farmers Dog Wash
Bring your canine friend down for a wash on the day and go home with a lovely smelling furbaby.

Critters Up Close
This year you can get up close and personal with some of Australia's fascinating critters. Critters Up Close will be providing an interactive and interesting wildlife display with the whole animal team, including birds, frogs, mammals, invertebrates and reptiles.

Discover Deadly

Discover Deadly will present an amazing reptile display! Visit their stand to learn about venomous snakes and non-venomous reptiles and for an exciting reptile experience.

Dog Grooming Competitions
The Poodle and Salon Freestyle grooming contest will showcase the skills of some of the country's top dog groomers. Here these groomers will compete for cash prizes, sashes and trophies, and the title of Best in Show.


Humpy Camels
Have you ever wanted to ride a camel? Humpy Camels will be there with their trained and handsome camels. This is an activity for the whole family. Meet Peanut, Coffee and Pickles  and kids can ride the "camel train" around the expo!

Swan Valley Cuddly Animal Farm
Here you can cuddle and feed some friendly farmyard animals. Don't miss out on seeing these little cuties!

WA Birds of Prey
WA Birds of Prey are passionate about "rescuing, rehabilitating and releasing birds back into the wild". They are the home of the West Coast Eagles mascot - Auzzie, a wedge-tailed eagle. 


West Oz Wildlife
This is an amazing opportunity to interact with a range of wildlife animals and learn more about them.

Wazzat Xolointzcuintle
The Xoloitzcuintle was considered one of the rarest breeds in the world, and now you can see the the first breeding pair in Australia and learn more about them.


There will be food trucks and a coffee stand for humans and their pets, so take a break with your pet at the all new Pet-Working bar and bistro!
