Bowral Home & Garden Show - Sept 9 & 10

The annual Bowral Home & Garden Show offers a great weekend for the whole family – even your fur kids!

Now in its fourth year, the Home & Garden Show will be held on the 9th and 10th of September, celebrating Spring's return. This comprehensive showcase of all things home and garden will once again be held at the Bong Bong Racecourse in Bowral.

The 2017 Show will feature over 100 exhibitors including dog related businesses, furniture companies, landscapers, designers, home improvement companies, garden art, landscape supplies, nurseries and much more. “Many exhibitors from previous years have returned, some doubling their display size”, commented Event Manager, Elizabeth Newham Nichols.

One of the most popular elements of the Home & Garden Show is the fact that leashed dogs are welcome at this event. “It is one of the few public events where dogs are not only welcome, but actively encouraged”, commented Elizabeth.

This year's Dog Lover’s Zone sponsored by Dogue will offer fun activities such as tarot reading for your pooch, pet portraits plus a fun dog show to find the “Best Dressed”, “Best Trick” and “Best Overall”.

To top off the dog related activities, the Dogue and Home & Garden Show teams will be on the look out for a ‘star dog’. The winner will then be named as the ‘face’ of the Dog Lover’s Zone for 2018 and win a pet portrait sitting plus other great prizes… not to mention being a VIP for the dog activities next year.

As with previous years there will be a comprehensive schedule of events including presentations, Q & A Forums, demonstrations and competitions throughout the weekend. Some of the highlights will include stone wall building, home improvement talks, cooking, garden and interior design demonstrations. There will also be loads of DIY activities for the kids including the “Potting Shed” and face painting.
