Whether your dog is small, big or in-between, they offer a range of collars and leads suitable for all dog breeds.
In 2015 Julia and Rob welcomed their new Curly Coated Retriever, Ranger into their home, and embarked on a search to find a lead that was comfortable to hold and a matching collar that would suit their dog but also look stylish.
Wanting to purchase an Australian-made product that was made from a natural fibre or material, nothing caught their eye, so they decided to come up with their own collar and lead, designed specifically for Ranger and Hounds of Distinction was born.
All collars and leads are hand-crafted in rural Victoria using quality leather and fittings. 'The Ranger' is the latest collection which was first hand-cut, then artisan-crafted from Italian leather.
'The Ranger' collection currently features two styles of collars. You can select from 'The Ranger' collar, made from plaited Italian leather collar with silver tone finishings, or 'The Whitby' collar which features 'the bushman's knot'.
Both collars are made in a variety of sizes, ranging from XS to XXL.
Matching leads are available in two standard lengths (0.5m and 1m), but for those dog owners wanting a slightly longer lead, Hounds of Distinction can offer a 1.4m lead as part of their "tailoring" service.
