This is a free community event with social dogs (on a leash) welcome and all dog competitions are also free to enter.
There will be dog demonstrations from NSW Siberian Husky Express, Seek Dogs as well as free dog behaviour talks. Dog competitions will be held throughout the day with plenty of prizes and free samples up for grabs for participants.
In addition to watching the dog demonstrations in action, there is a whole day of fun and entertainment planned with:

Dogs in the Park NSW will hold similar events this year including Dogs in the Park Newcastle (Oct 14) and Dogs in the Park Central Coast (Nov 17-18).

- Competitions with prizes for 'Fancy Dress', 'Cutest Puppy/Dog', 'Best Trick', ‘Dog Races Small/Medium/Large’, 'Best in Show' as well as Junior Handler competitions (3 categories for ages 7-9, 10-12 and 13-17)
- Dog Rescue Groups: Pug Patrol Rescue, Saving Staffies, Golden Oldies Rescue, Dingo Den Rescue, Rescue Hub, Greyhound Rescue
- Dog Merchandise & Services
- Food Stalls with a picnic area plus a chill out area
- Pet Adoption Day
- Dogs NSW stall & Dog Breed stalls
- Vet Talks
- Dingo Den Rescue Talks
- Dog Massages & Pamper area
- Dog Races: your dog can participate too!
