Bradfield Bark Dogs Day Out - May 27

A bone-anza day of fun for all dogs is coming to Bradfield Park in Milsons Point on Sunday 27 May

North Sydney Council will roll out the grass carpet at 10am to a day’s program packed full of dog demonstrations and talks, a Mutt Market, food stalls, live music, entertainment and activities for fur residents and their human companions to enjoy.

Posh pooches can put their best paw forward for a chance to win the title of ‘Best Dressed Doggie’ and there will also be prizes awarded to the winners of the Doggie and Owner Look-a-like’ and ‘Best Doggie Trick’ competitions.

A new addition to Bradfield Bark this year is the Words of Woofdom Tent where attendees can hear talks on a range of dog health and behaviour topics.

There will also be several dog demonstrations throughout the day, including agility demonstrations by the Manly and District Kennel and Dog Training Club and flyball demonstrations with the Sydney Psychos Flyball Team.

With a busy program of activities, there’s something to suit all ages. Snoopy will be making a special guest appearance and there will be a dog-themed giant jumping castle, Reverse Garbage craft workshops and an interactive mural.

North Sydney Mayor Jilly Gibson said that Bradfield Bark was a great community event for all dog lovers.

“Bradfield Bark celebrates the contribution our four-legged friends make to our community and acknowledges the health and social benefits of having a dog as part of the family.

“Whether they own a dog or not, all are welcome to attend and enjoy the demonstrations, talks and food stalls, live music and children’s activities.

“We’ll also be fundraising for our charity partner, the Sydney Cats and Dogs Home – Sydney’s only not-for-profit pound.”

All pets attending the event must be on-leash but a special off-leash area will be provided for dogs to run free on the day.

When: Sunday 27 May 2018, from 10:00am to 3:00pm
