Dog lovers far and wide and their furry four-legged friends are invited to join in the fun at this year’s A Pooch Affair in Canberra on Saturday 17th June, 2017.

This annual indoor boutique event will be held at EPIC and is expected to draw 3000 attendees and up to 1000 dogs!

This is the perfect event if you are wanting to spoil your furry friend to the max! Stroll through the Doggie Mall to discover a fantastic array of local and interstate pet products and services.You will also have the opportunity to meet with many animal rescue and non-profit community groups.

Want to go that one step further in spoiling your dog? Then be sure to book your tickets to attend the exclusive High Tea with Dogs.

This year’s theme is Tea Amongst The Tulips and includes prizes for the best dressed. High Tea tickets are $49 per adult and $15 per dog. This includes your entry into the event plus a doggie take home treat bag.

Be sure to have your pooch pampered in the Doggie Day Spa before attending this memorable dining session. 



There will be a complimentary Paws and Pose photo booth to capture memories of your special day out together.

There will be a range presentations and demonstrations including dog obedience, tips on what you need to consider before getting a dog and Guide Dogs NSW/ACT. 

Entertainment will be performed by the local dog clubs and include:

• Dancing with Dogs
• Nose Works
• Obedience Training, Agility and Rally-O demonstrations

This is a great opportunity to have a talk to the club members to find out about all the different fun activities you can do with your dog. 

If you'd like to join in the fun, then make sure you try the RSPCA ACT Agility obstacle course. You can even enter into one of the many competitions being held on the day. All these activities are free to enter and loads of fun.

If your pooch likes to strut their stuff or show their tricks, this is their big chance to hit the stage with lots of prizes to be won! The stage shows will run from 10:30am on the Petbarn Main Stage in Budawang Pavilion. Even if you miss out on winning one of the many prizes to be given away, there is a complimentary sample showbag for everyone!

A Pooch Affair is truly an awesome doggie day out – all whilst supporting a fantastic cause for event charity partner, RSPCA ACT.

The event will be conducted inside Budawang and Coorong Pavilions.

Cost: $10 for adults; $7 concession; free admission for children under 12, dogs are a gold coin donation to RSPCA ACT. 

Entry tickets are available at the door only. High Tea tickets must be pre-purchased online.
